Your help center is public: anyone with the link can read published articles. This article explains how it appears in search engines and how we keep help centers on Kora Reply safe.
Search engines
New help centers are hidden from search engines. Every page carries a "noindex" instruction, so Google and Bing do not list it, even though people with the link can still visit.
When your articles are ready, an owner or admin can turn this on:
- Open Knowledge base in your workspace.
- Under Help center settings, switch on Let search engines index your help center.
Your articles, categories and help center home are then marked as indexable and listed in our help center sitemap, so search engines can find them. Search result pages and the report form always stay hidden. You need a confirmed email address to turn indexing on, and you can switch it off at any time.
Search on your help center
Visitors can search from the help center home or the top bar. Search matches whole words in titles and article text (titles count more), understands simple phrases like "reset password", and still finds the right article when a word in the title is slightly misspelled. Only published articles are searched.
Every help center page has a Report abuse link in the footer. Visitors can tell the Kora Reply team about phishing, malware, spam, impersonation or illegal content. Reports go to Kora Reply, not to the workspace that owns the help center.
Content rules and suspension
Help centers must not be used for phishing, fake login pages, malware, spam or content that is illegal or impersonates someone else. To make misuse harder, articles cannot contain scripts, embedded frames, forms or password fields: any HTML in an article is shown as plain text.
When a help center breaks these rules, Kora Reply can suspend it. A suspended help center is taken offline for visitors (its pages return "not found"), while the workspace, its tickets and its drafts stay intact. If your help center was suspended and you think it was a mistake, write to hello@korareply.com.
